Rangers FC have unveiled ambitious long-term plans aimed at transforming the area around Ibrox Stadium into a modern football and entertainment destination. The proposed vision includes a significant increase in stadium capacity, alongside the creation of a luxury fan park, a large event zone, improved transport links, new hotels, and a commercial hub designed to support year-round activity.

According to the announcement, the project is intended to improve the matchday experience for supporters while also creating new opportunities for local businesses and visitors. Club officials believe the development could make Ibrox one of the biggest and most modern football stadiums in Europe if all necessary approvals are secured.

The estimated cost of the project is around $300 million, with construction expected to begin once planning approvals, funding arrangements, and infrastructure agreements have been finalized. The work would be carried out in phases to reduce disruption to fans and scheduled events at the stadium.

Rangers also stated that the wider development is expected to create new jobs, attract additional investment to the surrounding area, and provide improved public spaces for supporters and local residents. The club says sustainability and modern transport connections will be key priorities throughout the project.

Further details, including the proposed construction timeline and design plans, are expected to be released in the coming months. The club has said it will continue to work closely with supporters, local authorities, and project partners before the development moves into its next stage.
