The referee has blown the whistle for half-time, and we head into the break with a valuable lead after an encouraging opening 45 minutes. The team started the match with good energy, confidence and determination, immediately showing a willingness to take control of the game and create opportunities in dangerous areas.
The breakthrough came through Dewsbury-Hall, who produced a delightful strike to send the ball into the net and put us ahead. It was a moment of quality that rewarded the team’s positive approach and gave the supporters another reason to celebrate as the players continued pushing forward.
After taking the lead, the team remained focused and disciplined, working hard to protect the advantage while continuing to look for another opportunity. The midfield has shown good intensity, while the defence has remained organised whenever the opposition has attempted to respond.
