Stroud was visibly shaken as his close friend and teammate, wide receiver Tank Dell, suffered a severe knee injury. After catching a 30-yard touchdown pass from Stroud, Dell collided with teammate Jared Wayne and Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie, leading to the injury.
As Dell clutched his knee in pain, the stadium fell silent. Stroud, deeply affected by the sight of his friend in distress, was seen kneeling and in tears on the sideline. Teammate Joe Mixon offered comfort, attempting to console the distraught quarterback.
