DEAL COMPLETED: Stoke City FC Has Officially Finalized the Signing of Romelu Lukaku for…
As of August 11, 2026, there is no reliable confirmation that Stoke City FC has completed a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku. Current reports instead indicate that Lukaku is at Napoli and has been strongly linked with a move to Fenerbahçe.
If presented as a fictional transfer scenario, the headline could introduce Lukaku as Stoke City’s major attacking addition, with the club reportedly bringing in the experienced Belgian striker to strengthen its frontline.
The move would represent a major statement of ambition from Stoke City, with Lukaku’s experience at top European clubs potentially providing additional quality and leadership to the squad.
For Lukaku, such a transfer would represent a surprising new chapter in his career after spells with clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Roma and Napoli. He also remains an important figure for Belgium.
However, the Stoke City move should not be presented as a real completed transfer unless an official announcement is made. Current reporting points toward Fenerbahçe as the leading destination, making a Stoke announcement currently unverified.
