Ohio State University has officially promoted Brian Hartline to the role of Offensive Coordinator, as reported by multiple sources including ESPN, Fox Sports, and NBC Sports. Hartline, who has been a pivotal figure in the Buckeyes’ coaching staff, previously served as the Wide Receivers Coach and briefly as the interim Offensive Coordinator. His promotion underscores the program’s confidence in his ability to lead one of college football’s most dynamic offenses.

Hartline, a former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver, has earned a reputation as one of the top recruiters and developers of talent in college football. Under his guidance, the Buckeyes’ wide receiver room has flourished, producing NFL stars such as Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. His deep understanding of the game and strong relationships with players have made him a respected figure within the program.

The promotion comes as Ohio State looks to maintain its offensive dominance in the Big Ten and nationally. Hartline’s innovative approach and familiarity with the team’s system are expected to ensure a seamless transition. Fans and analysts alike have praised the move, with many taking to social media to express their support for Hartline’s well-deserved elevation.

As the Buckeyes gear up for the 2025 season, all eyes will be on Hartline to see how he shapes the offense and continues Ohio State’s tradition of excellence.
