Seahawks rule Kenneth Walker III out for Thursday Night Clash..

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has been officially ruled out for Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bears due to an ankle injury sustained in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Walker, who has missed multiple games this season because of various injuries, including calf and oblique issues, was unable to participate in the team’s walkthrough practice on Tuesday.

Given the short turnaround between games, his absence was anticipated.

In Walker’s absence, rookie running back Zach Charbonnet is expected to take on a more prominent role in the Seahawks’ backfield. Charbonnet, who has been dealing with an elbow injury, was a full participant in Tuesday’s walkthrough and appears ready to lead the rushing attack against the Bears.

The Seahawks’ injury report ahead of the Thursday night game is relatively clean, with only a few players listed. Tight end Brady Russell is dealing with a foot injury, and linebacker Trevis Gipson is also on the injury report. The team plans to hold a final practice on Wednesday morning before traveling to Chicago later in the day.

Seattle’s offense will need to adjust to Walker’s absence, relying on Charbonnet and potentially other running backs to fill the void. The Seahawks are looking to rebound from their recent loss and keep their playoff hopes alive as they face the Bears on Thursday night.
