“We still have goals we want to reach as a team, and I want to be alongside my teammates as we reach those goals,” Singleton stated in his announcement.

Both players were highly ranked by ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr., with Allen and Singleton listed as the No. 5 and No. 6 running backs, respectively, for the upcoming NFL draft. Despite their strong draft prospects, their decision to stay highlights their dedication to Penn State’s future success.

This past season, Allen and Singleton formed one of college football’s most formidable rushing tandems. Allen amassed 1,108 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
