Ole Miss is set to host former Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace III, also known as Trey, on a recruiting visit this Friday, according to a report by On3’s Pete Nakos. Wallace recently visited Louisville and entered the transfer portal earlier this week after leading Penn State’s receiving corps in yardage during the 2024 season.
Securing Wallace would be a major win for the Rebels. In 2024, he recorded 46 receptions for 720 yards and four touchdowns, establishing himself as Penn State’s top outside receiving threat.
Ole Miss boasted one of the SEC’s strongest wide receiver units in 2024. However, with standout receivers Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins heading to the NFL, the Rebels face a significant challenge in replacing their combined output of over 100 catches and nearly 2,000 receiving yards.
Adding Wallace to their roster would be a crucial step in addressing this void. Head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff have been active in the transfer portal, and the 2025 cycle has been no different. To date, Ole Miss has secured 21 transfer commitments, including four from wide receivers, highlighting their commitment to bolstering the position.
