Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been fined multiple times by the NFL for violations related to player safety and sportsmanship. In November 2024, Humphrey was fined $22,511 for illegal use of the helmet during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Additionally, he received an $11,255 fine for a facemask violation in the same game.

In December 2024, during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Humphrey intercepted a pass from quarterback Russell Wilson and returned it for a touchdown. As he approached the end zone, he held the ball toward Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III, which the NFL interpreted as taunting, resulting in an $11,255 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct. Humphrey later clarified that he was attempting to pitch the ball to teammate David Ojabo and did not intend to taunt.

These incidents highlight the NFL’s commitment to enforcing rules designed to protect player safety and maintain sportsmanship on the field. Players are expected to adhere to these standards to ensure the integrity of the game and the well-being of all participants.

As of now, there is no record of a $45,020 fine imposed on Marlon Humphrey for unnecessary roughness involving a hit on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. The NFL continues to monitor and address on-field conduct to uphold the league’s standards.
