This Thursday, Chelsea and 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 meet on matchday four of the Conference League, in what could be the most high-profile duel in the German club’s history.

This Thursday, Chelsea and 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 meet in the fourth round of the Conference League, in what will be the most publicized game in the history of the German club. Goalkeeper Kevin Müller shared some details about how the team has been dealing with tonight’s duel.

“I’m happy to be able to play against a team like this in a competitive game, internationally. It’s something very special! We’re all very happy, everyone sitting in the dressing room, we’ve just worked for this in the last few years and everyone is part of it”, he confided.

Kevin Müller also made a point of revealing that his 14-year-old son Pepe will be in the group of fans, joking about the comments he might hear during the game against Chelsea.

“I’ve already told him, ‘You, maybe a ball goes by me, and people turn to you and say, ‘Man, what’s going on with dad today’? Of course, it could also happen the other way around. He handles it very well. And what’s good is that the news spreads.

Remember that both teams compete in the Conference League and are in direct qualifying places for the next phase of the competition. Chelsea top the table with nine points, while 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 is in sixth place but with the same number of points (9).
