The Dallas Cowboys have announced that star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will miss the final two games of the 2024 season due to a shoulder injury. Lamb has been playing through an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder since Week 9 but aggravated the injury in the recent victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Despite the discomfort, Lamb has had an impressive season, recording 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns over 15 games. His performance places him among the league leaders, tying for second in receptions and ranking third in receiving yards.
With the Cowboys eliminated from playoff contention, the team has opted to prioritize Lamb’s health. He will undergo treatment and rehabilitation but is not expected to require surgery, with a full recovery anticipated.
Lamb’s absence will be felt as the Cowboys conclude their season with games against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders. His contributions have been a highlight in an otherwise challenging season for Dallas.
