Former University of Florida head coach Urban Meyer is set to join the ranks of football legends. On Wednesday, the National Football Foundation (NFF) announced Meyer’s election to the College Football Hall of Fame.
Meyer, who led the Florida Gators from 2005 to 2010, will become the 14th representative from Florida and the fifth Gators coach to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. During his tenure, Meyer guided the team to remarkable success, securing two national championships, two Southeastern Conference (SEC) titles, three SEC Eastern Division crowns, and appearances in six consecutive January bowl games, including three BCS bowls.
The 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class will be officially inducted on December 9 during the 67th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas.
