The Las Vegas Raiders ended a 10-game losing streak with a 19-14 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Allegiant Stadium on December 22, 2024.

Quarterback Aidan O’Connell led the Raiders’ offense, passing for 257 yards.

Running back Ameer Abdullah contributed significantly, scoring a touchdown that gave the Raiders a 19-14 lead.

The Raiders’ defense was instrumental in the win, forcing two fumbles and holding the Jaguars scoreless in the second half.

Safety Isaiah Pola-Mao made a notable impact with a hit-stick tackle that forced a fumble, showcasing the defense’s aggressive play.

For the Jaguars, quarterback Mac Jones completed 25 of 39 passes for 247 yards and one touchdown but was hampered by critical turnovers.

Rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. was a standout, recording nine receptions for 132 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown that brought his season total to over 1,000 receiving yards—the first rookie in Jaguars’ history to achieve this milestone.

Despite these efforts, the Jaguars’ offense struggled to maintain momentum, and their defense couldn’t contain the Raiders’ key plays.

This loss drops the Jaguars to a 3-12 record, positioning them for a high pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Raiders, now at 3-12, will look to build on this victory as they prepare for their next matchup.
