Borussia Dortmund have pulled off one of the biggest transfer coups of the summer by completing the signing of 18-year-old attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas from Belgian side KRC Genk. The Bundesliga giants reportedly moved quickly to finalize the deal after learning of strong interest from AC Milan.

Club representatives are said to have traveled to Belgium to conclude negotiations, with both clubs reaching a full agreement on a transfer worth around €40 million. Karetsas is believed to have completed his medical before signing a long-term contract at Signal Iduna Park.

The Greek youngster is regarded as one of Europe’s brightest attacking talents thanks to his creativity, technical ability, and composure in the final third. Dortmund believe he has all the qualities needed to become the club’s next breakout star.
