Playing for Coach Pope, who is undoubtedly another National Champion, as well as the school, its students, and the environment here

Playing for Coach Pope is an incredible opportunity. He’s not only a proven leader but also a national champion, and that kind of pedigree speaks volumes. To be coached by someone with that level of experience and success is something every player dreams of. Coach Pope brings a winning mentality, and his passion for the game is contagious. Knowing I’d be under his guidance made this decision feel right from the start.

But beyond just Coach Pope, the entire program at this school is on another level. The tradition, the commitment to excellence, and the way they support their players—it’s all first-class. There’s something special about this place that you feel as soon as you step on campus. The way the staff, the students, and even the fans embrace you—it’s more than just basketball. It’s family. It’s culture. And that’s rare to find.

The atmosphere here is absolutely electric. I’ve watched games on TV and always thought it looked insane, but experiencing it in person was different. We played here last year, and I still remember the energy in the building. The crowd was loud, the intensity was unreal, and it gave me chills. It’s the kind of environment that fuels you as a player. You can’t help but want to be part of that.

When I got the call from them, I didn’t even have to think twice. It was pretty much a no-brainer. Everything lined up—the coach, the program, the school, the fan base. I remember thinking to myself, “Man, I gotta do it.” Sometimes in life, you just know when something is right, and this was one of those moments. I felt it in my gut.

This move isn’t just about basketball either—it’s about growth. I’m ready to challenge myself, to push harder, and to be part of something bigger than me. I know I’ll have to earn everything, and I welcome that. I’m coming in with an open mind and a hungry heart, ready to work and contribute in any way I can. I believe this is where I’m supposed to be right now.

Ultimately, this is a new chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited. I know the expectations are high, and that’s exactly what I want. I want to compete at the highest level, to play in front of passionate fans, and to represent something meaningful. This is a chance to be part of greatness, and I’m all in. Let’s get to work.
