Legend Jake Plummer Just Delivered a Power Play — Donates Two Jaw-Dropping Luxury Buses to Arizona State! “We Built This Legacy — Let’s Ride Like It”

Plummer, known for his electrifying college career and later NFL success, has gifted two state-of-the-art luxury buses to the Arizona State football program — a gesture that goes far beyond transportation. These aren’t just any buses; they’re rolling tributes to the grit, pride, and legacy of ASU football.

Each bus is outfitted with first-class amenities including plush reclining seats, custom lighting, entertainment systems, and even Sun Devil branding from floor to ceiling. “If we want to play like champions, we should travel like champions,” Plummer said at the unveiling. “This isn’t just about comfort. It’s about identity, swagger, and pride in what we’ve built here.”

Plummer, who led ASU to a near-perfect season in 1996 and a Rose Bowl appearance, emphasized the importance of investing in today’s players. “They’re carrying the torch now,” he said. “We laid the bricks, but they’re building the tower. I want them to feel that every time they hit the road.” The sentiment was met with roaring applause from players, alumni, and coaches alike.

ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham called the donation “an unbelievable gesture of leadership and brotherhood.” He added, “Jake hasn’t just given us buses — he’s given us a reminder of what it means to be a Sun Devil. That pride, that hunger, that sense of family — it’s rolling with us now.”

This donation marks another chapter in Plummer’s ongoing commitment to the program. Over the years, he’s been a visible and vocal supporter of ASU, mentoring players, showing up at games, and funding development projects behind the scenes. But this latest act may be the most symbolic — and most stylish — yet.

As the engines fired up and players boarded the gleaming new buses for their first ride, Plummer turned to the crowd with a grin and said, “We built this legacy — let’s ride like it.” With that, the wheels turned, carrying the team into a new era — with their legend still leading the way.
