The honor, decided by the very defenders tasked with stopping him in practice, underscores Dart’s standout performances during drills and his growing reputation as a rising NFL prospect.
Dart, who led Ole Miss to an 11-win season in 2023 under head coach Lane Kiffin, has been a focal point of Senior Bowl buzz after showcasing his arm talent, decision-making, and mobility during practices. Completing over 67% of his passes for 3,364 yards and 23 touchdowns in his final college season, the 6’2”, 220-pound dual-threat QB has drawn praise for his poise under pressure and ability to extend plays—a skill that reportedly left a strong impression on defensive peers. “Going against Jaxson all week, you see why he’s special,” one anonymous AFC team cornerback told ESPN. “He’s quick, accurate, and doesn’t make many mistakes.”
